Hi Octave, thanks a lot for flagging this issue! We've stopped the current experiment we were running for Transfer while we work on improvements based on your feedback, so you should regain access to the familiar legacy UX shortly.

Hi-
I would also like to add that I observed my network activity activity when I clicked on the "Create Link" button in the Transfer app window. There was no data being uploaded or downloaded from my computer. This is because I already have the files synced to the Dropbox cloud. There is a 12-15 second amimation waiting period prior to being able to click the button to copy the link simply for graphical interest. Please change the app back to how it used to be and do away with the loading the box and closing it up animation which takes time up.

Hi Megan-
One more detail I noticed last night. It is also evident that the animation duration is unnecessary because I consistently get my email notification that I have created a new transfer 5 seconds BEFORE the package loading animation is completed in the Transfer window.
That means that dropbox is sending out an email that I created a new transfer [which contains the link in it], it travels all the way through gmail, and then pushes to my computer 5 seconds before the animation is completed. That is really showing that the animation is unnecessary. 15 seconds of sitting waiting for the animation to finish so I can copy the link feels like a long time when I'm sending my 20th link to clients at 3:30 in the morning.
