Upload extremely slow
Since I've installed Sonoma 14.0 on my MacBook Dropbox takes ages to uplaod 145mb. Waiting for days to get my map sync and still not working. I've removed the map, put it again on Dropbox. I just takes hours for one file of 15mb to upload. I did not convert Dropbox to use the new mapping system, Im affraid my uploads will take forever after I do that. Please help if someone knows the solution. (Oh my network uplaod has been set to max).

Hi there Normanvh - thanks for flagging this with us.
Could you let us know the app's status and version as shown in your menu bar at the moment?
Did you reboot your computer and/or the Dropbox desktop app since you first noticed this?
While we're at it, are you facing the same issue if you upload through a web browser?
Let us know what you find and we'll take it from there.

Hey Normanvh, hope you’re doing well.
Can you right click on your local Dropbox folder for me, and go to “Get info”? Please send me a screenshot of the next window that will appear.

Thanks for that, Normanvh.
One more thing I'd like you to check is that the Dropbox app has full disk access. You can follow the steps here to check.

Hi Hannah,
sorry, I do not see what you mean. I see a whole list of items. - Megan3 years ago

Hi Normanvh, from your screenshot above, I'm afraid that I don't see the number of files that you have inside your Dropbox folder.
Would you mind checking that, and letting me know?
The app's performance might start to decline when you locally sync more than 300,000 files on your computer, that's why I'm suggesting this.

Hi Megan,
I don't know the amout but I have far more files on my Imac and there I did not have any sync problems. It all started after updating to Sonoma 14.0. I did not change the file directory because I was afraid that would give problems but I still got problems...

Hi Normanvh, do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

Hi Jay,
Sorry for my late reply. I had another teammember who informed me to log out and back in. In the beginning it looked like I had to download all files but within some minutes all problems where solved. The problem did not return, so I hope this was the fix.
