Solved

Uploaded photos are not appearing in my Dropbox shared file

I am having an issue with one of my Project Inspectors uploading photos to a shared Dropbox link.  He states that he has uploaded the files but when I click on the folder, nothing is there.  I had him reupload but I still do not see the photos.  This is the only file that I have this issue with.

  • My Inspector just informed me that he has been uploading to his own file by mistake rather than the file I sent him.  Thank you for your help and please disregard.

Hey Emma S - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

May I ask if your collaborator is able to see the files they upload from their end on the website?

Did you send a link with edit rights or view only rights perhaps?

Let us know what you find and we'll take it from there, Emma.

He can see them on his end.  I sent him a link that he is able to edit.

And when you say shared file, I assume you're referring to a folder to which you shared a link to with edit rights - is that correct, Emma?

Could you clear your browser's cache and/or try another browser and let me know if you can see the files now?

In the meantime, you can also open a file request for your collaborator to upload files back to your account directly.

No worries, Emma. I'm glad to hear you managed to sort this out and thanks for keeping me in the loop too.

See you around the Community and take care!
