Moreover, it was until recently available on the 'context' page for any given folder. Until a few weeks ago, I would click 'View on Dropbox' in Windows Explorer, this would open what I'm calling the 'context page', and there would be the option to create a link to 'Request Files'. This has vanished, but is accessible now in the left-hand options. On clicking it there, it starts creating a request as before BUT it does so 'out of context', meaning default folder. And that means I have to know (or find) the subfolder path in order to get the context back. And that is a whopping pain in the proverbial. The whole point of Viewing a Folder in Dropbox is to open its 'context page' and work with it there.
So, why the change?
I get removing it from the Windows Explorer context menu, because that only annoys other people like the OP, but this annoys me! 😲 (joking aside, my way was clearly already a degraded workaround, so please give us these features back)
