Why is my Documents folder in my Dropbox folder?

After many years using the same computer, we purchased a new one. There are many things different from the "old days".  I feel like a total newbie!   I somehow ended up with my documents folder in Dr...

Yes Walter.  I took a pic of it with my camera and tried to attach it here but it doesn't take the file.  Basically, the list goes:  Dropbox  then indented: Documents, indented: Alan June 22, indented: Alan, indented :Documents again, and :my first file 2017 rental income.

Hey Lindanew!

 

If you indeed accidentally dragged your Documents folder into your Dropbox folder, have you tried moving it out ever since you noticed this?
