Being forced to upgrade due to a shared folder
I am using Dropbox to access a shared folder owned by someone else with my basic account. I don't have any other files or folders but I get a message saying that I have to upgrade? Why? The owner is ...

3 years agoDropbox shared folders use the quota up of everybody in the share. So if you want access you need to pay.
If you don't need edit access ask for a Shared Link instead.
