Dropbox is out of space and won't sync, but total space usage for folders is underquota
My dropbox space utilization is at 638 MB but Dropbox stopped syncing and says I have used 2.88 GB. I have already included shared folders in that calculation of space utilization and I do not use Dropbox backup. It feels like a ploy to frustrate to the point of getting me to upgrade. Does anyone have ideas on how to solve this issue?
Here is an image with all my folders (see center of screen). The total space used when you add that up is about 640 MG. You can see in the lower left corner it says I have utilized 2.88 GB.

Hi Andrew A, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It sounds like you might have activated the Dropbox Backup feature.
Could you check if you have any backups on this page and disable them if need be?
Keep me updated with any progress!
