Email says I have only 1GB left, but my account shows much more available
I don't know why I'm getting these emails that tell me "Your Dropbox account has less than 1 GB of storage left." According to my Dropbox account I'm Using 6.26 GB of 9.76 GB. That's a fair amount mo...

Hey DG44, thanks for the screenshots!
It seems this email is our usual short of notification when a user's storage is above 50%.
In your case, this seems to be correct since 6.3GB is approximately 64% of your total quota. As for the 1GB left, you can ignore that as a false alarm, and go with what your plan page shows.

Thank you for confirming.
- Federico_C2 years agoExplorer | Level 4Thank you for the reply. I was waiting for a new email/notification but none of them have arrived these days.
Anyway, I want to know how can be normal to advise people with "You are near the storage limit" if they have 50% free. My uncle and every person who are ignorant about computers fall for it and buy the paid plan when they don't need it.
85% or 90% make more sense.
