How long does Dropbox take to reflect freed up space on an account?
Hi,
I have 6GB of space in dropbox that has been all used.
Then, I removed a set of files (of about of 5GB) and my dropbox didn't (yet) re-calc'ed the free space.
Do I need to do anything t...
- 8 years agoDeleted files do not use quota.
As I said before what is the Share folder using?
That space on the website IS correct. So if its still large you've a large file still hidden within your system somewhere.

It should be instant once they are not showing up at www.dropbox.com/home
So, if you deleted them from a computer you need to give it time to sync to the green tick.

- hugoca8 years agoExplorer | Level 3I did remove them first on the file explorer, then permanently delete them on the web interface. Two weeks ago. So drop had plenty of time to sync. Still, no space available yet.
