I'm using 750 MB out of 12 GB of space but it says that I need to upgrade to join a folder

Help please... I have the basic ..., I referred a few friends in the past. So I got 12.75 gig of space... Now a friend wants me to join his folder on his dropbox... but when I click his link.....

How large is the folder you're trying to join?

If it's larger than your available space, you won't be able to add it to your account.
