iPhone Storage running out
Hello all I am new to Dropbox and recently opened an account in hopes of backing up my photos and videos. I keep getting an error to free up space on my iPhone, is there a workaround? I thought Dropb...

3 years agoHi Chris F1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
In general, the mobile app would require some extra storage on the phone for the cache in order to allow photos to be uploaded to the site.
Have you tried clearing the cache to see if this helps?
This will help me to assist further!

Hey Chris F1, sorry to jump in, but I just wanted to mention that clearing your cache would help free up some storage space on your device and possibly improve the performance.
If you'd like to give a go, you can follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the “Personal” (Account) tab
2. Tap the gear icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
3. Select “Clear Cache”.Once this is done then please ensure you log out of the Dropbox application, then restart your device and log back in again.

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?
