My account keeps saying it's full - but it isn't
Hi - I have a 6.3 GB basic account with less that 1.2 GB of data in it, but I keep getting notifications saying the account is full, and it isn't syncing. I've double checked my folders and cleaned o...

As a first step, can you check your plan page, and let me know what it reports there? Did you also remove any shared folders, that could potentially be taking up space on your account?
Or perhaps you have backup enabled. Can you check all three, and let me know what you see there?

On the Plan page i see im back on the Basica plan with 14.5Gb and it also says im using 156GB 😮
On the Shared folders i do have some shared folders but i cant delet them, or remove myself from the shares, but never the less i dont think that the share folders make 156Gb of files

Hi Rui Bandeira, it sounds like you might have a Dropbox Backup enabled, have you tried checking this page like my colleague suggested?

Yep that was the problem, i dont remember hadding the external drive to the backups, probabli did it by mistake.
