My hard drive is full even though I've set my folder to be online-only
Agreed to the new Mac Folders and the sync tells me my hard drive is full and I have all of my folders set for Make online only. Everything shows clouds but when I check my hard drive utility it says...
- 2 years agoIt appears to be ok. Thanks

2 years agoHI there Probes - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please clarify your computer's OS version, and the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
A screenshot of where you're spotting the discrepancy would also help!

Hey Probes, the setting you sent us in the preferences about the default sync state of the files refers to new files added to your Dropbox folder.
Can you please right-click the Dropbox folder itself and see if the "make online-only" option is clickable for you? If so, click it and let me know if anything happens.
If nothing happens, please right-click on the folder again and click on 'get info' to get a screenshot of that as well.
Also, please go to this page and make sure that the "online-only files on Mac" option is enabled.
