Thanks Jay…I guess I’ll have to try that. I don’t have a choice. Can I still upload files to that folder when they only share the link? I need access to upload files.

Shared links only allow you to view and download files. 

 

To upload files to their account, without it affecting your own quota, you'll need to ask them to create a file request.

    This is a huge problem for me. I won’t be able to do my job. It doesn’t seem fair to penalize my account for the use of theirs, with their permission. I assume this is a way to force people to upgrade and pay more. Very, very unhappy.

    I’ll definitely be talking to my client about a better system of file sharing I can have access to without making their contractor’s accounts useless. They are growing and using a ton more space, eventually I’ll have to buy enterprise level space just to do work for them, which isn’t feasible for any contractor.
