Space used suddenly went up without changes to files
My personal Drobpox account suddently, without any changes in files, went from being 100GB below limit to being 200GB over limit. What happened & what can I do about it?
Have you enabled Backups? http://www.dropbox.com/backups
Also, check what http://www.dropbox.com/events shows about the file changes etc.

Do you have Dropbox Sync turned on? If you created a large file/folder locally on your device, you may have unintentionally synced it. I've done this before!

Thanks.
I have not enabled backups. The events idea worked. A collaborator had added a massive number of files in a shared folder. - Walter2 months ago
