When Quicken Extra 5 GB gets removed, how long does Dropbox give you to address overages?

I just found out that my 5 GB from Quicken was removed on June 2nd even though my Quicken subscription has almost another year to go. So now I have an overage in space usage. Quicken support can only really help with this during the week. How long do I have before Dropbox will remove files to get to the 2 GB limit?

  • Quicken should issue one code per year 🙂

And Dropbox wont remove files from your account so you are OK - however, note that nothing new/changed/updated will sync to your account while over quota. So changes you make to files will NOT upload to Dropbox at the moment.

    Two questions:

1- How do I know if I have the extra 5GB of storage space?

2- Do I need to re-apply each time I renew Quicken?

    Thanks.

You can see all of the space you've earned on your Referrals page. You should get a new code from Quicken each year. Contact them if you don't have one.

    Thank you, Rich.

The Quicken 5GB of storage space does not appear on my referrals page.

I'm confused.  Isn't the referrals page storage amounts strictly for getting referrals?

The Quicken Dropbox space is a perk for subscribing to their app.  Thx.

Hey HazPat, do you see your Quicken space in the plan tab of your account settings perhaps?

The bottom of the page shows other bonus space as well, separate from the space earned through referrals. Mine shows space earned from other coupons and programs, such as Dell. If you don't see it on the Plan page that Hannah mentioned, I'd check there.
