Android Dropbox Mobile App Not Showing File Download Progress Bars.
I've tried about every possible fix from deleting the app to clearing storage and cache. This only started happening recently maybe within the month.
This happens when downloading a file or clicking "Make Available Online"
Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Hi Jipy, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify why this is related to the Discord mobile app?
This will help me to assist further!

Because that is where I'm encountering the issue.
Edit: OH MY GOSH.. My phone autocorrected Dropbox to the word Discord

Thanks for the info, if you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?
- Jipy2 years agoExplorer | Level 4This suggested solution did not work.

Hey Jipy, other than the progress bar, does the action complete without any issues?
Also, would you mind clarifying the version of the OS you're using, along with the Dropbox app version?
- Jipy2 years agoExplorer | Level 4This bug happens on the Android app, newest version available on the play store.
- Jipy2 years agoExplorer | Level 4And yes. The action still completes
- Jipy2 years agoExplorer | Level 4Also, I believe this bug started in Android app Update Febuary 27th 2024. Version 366.2.2

Hi from me too, Jipy! Hope it’s OK to jump in.
I tested this on my end, as well; from what I can see, when making files available offline, there’s a small blue syncing icon showing that the file’s becoming offline, before the icon turns into a small green checkmark.
Other than that, there’s no progress bar when exporting files indeed; however, do you get a notification at the end letting you know that the file has been successfully exported?
- Jipy2 years agoExplorer | Level 4Yes, I agree to everything you tested file still exports but with no progress bar.
As I mentioned the progress bar used to be there for downloading offline files as well as in my Notifications for exporting files. This feature left in the last update it seems?
