Android shortcut directly to a file

On the Android phone I can create a home screen shortcut to a folder. However, I would prefer to create a shortcut to a specific file which would be a Dropbox Paper file.   Is this possible? ...

This would be a good addition.  You can create shortcuts directly to individual Docs on Google Drive for example.
