Another computer profile is getting a log in screen for Dropbox on Windows

On my PC, I use Dropbox as the primary user/administrator. My wife also uses my PC and has her own username and password, but she doesn't use Dropbox. Yet, every time she logs in, she sees the Dropbox home screen and is asked for a username and password. How can I prevent her from seeing that login screen?

  • Hi RonvanderVeldt, thanks for messaging the Community!

As the Dropbox desktop application is installed on the computer, it means that it's loading up on startup for all desktop profiles.

On her computer profile, could you try preventing the Dropbox desktop application from starting up by following these steps?

It should still load normally on your profile, so it won't affect your computer profile.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
