Can I use a simplified version of the Dropbox desktop client for Windows?
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
Windows 10 Pro
Question or Issue
The new Dropbox app seems to be completely messed up after the last forced update. The installer does not work on my system (while I can install any other application without issues), so I cannot install it. The old version I was using for years is no longer syncing. As a result, I am no longer able use Dropbox on my systems, a service I actually pay for.
However, I do not need all the new features and gimmicks. All I need is a dropbox application that has to do only one job: keep one folder on my system synced to my cloud storage. Without further hassle or features. Something that will install using a standard windows installer on W8/10/11.
Any chance of something like that being made available in the near future?
