Clicking on the Dropbox icon opens the local folder instead of the app menu (v228.3.5456).

On a brand new windows PC I installed the latest dropbox (v228.3.5456), and the dropbox GUI won't show. When I right click on the dropbox icon in the systray nothing shows, when I double click on the dropbox icon in the systray it just opens my dropbox folder. When I reinstall dropbox it works, but only for a few minutes. After that again there is no way of opening the GUI. I have to keep reinstalling dropbox to access the GUI. Anyone else encounter this or find a fix?

I see, thanks for the additional screenshot msakten - much appreciated.

I just took a look at our system and I can see that you're already in touch with a member of our support team about this, so I passed your comments on to them and they'll be getting back to you shortly.

Let me know if you have anything else to add in the meantime.

Ok thanks. When I posted 3 hours ago that it was back to 228.3, I again reinstalled the stable version. And after installation I confirmed that it was indeed 227.4, and the GUI was working. Now, 3 hours later. It's 228.3 again.
