Desktop app won't install - installer just closes during the installation process
I download the installer. It asks if the app has my permission to be installed. I say yes. It runs and looks fine with the bar moving across and everything and then it just closes.

Did you already have Dropbox installed? If so that is what usually happens if its an update.

Hey LisaCadiz, thanks for reaching out to us.
To check if the Dropbox app has finished installing or reinstalling, try to look for a small Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar; do you see one?
If you do, what do you see when hovering over it with your mouse?

I’m fixed now. It looks like it was installed. All the it would not open. I uninstalled and then tried the off-line installation and that worked

it showed dropbox in the application applications, but as I said, it wasn’t loaded. I uninstalled what was there. I downloaded the off-line installation and that ! Thanks very much to everyone for your suggestions
