the windows version is 173.4.6706
yes, it is a user account
and the quantity and weight of the files remain the same, since I made a copy of them. (about 1.5 GB)

3 years agoHi erichurtrez, could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application and then make any changes, moves or so on in the Dropbox folder to see if the behavior continues?

there are still about ten "dropbox" processes launched and that I had to kill
every time I try to access a folder contained in my dropbox folder, a crazy time is requested and a dropbox process starts. I kill the process, but it doesn't change how long windows takes to open the folder...

correction :
- when I open a folder by double-clicking on the folder icon, the time is endless
- if I scroll down the folder tree in the left part of the explorer, then click on the desired folder, then everything is ok, the files are displayed normally, without latency...- Nancy3 years ago

Just a clarification; what you mention in your latest message happens even after trying Jay’s suggestion to temporarily quit the Dropbox app, correct?
Also, the issue that you’re having is with your old Dropbox app on your existing user, right? Not with a new Dropbox app that you installed on the new user you created on your computer.
