DropBox is stuck at the “Set Up Dropbox” screen when installing

    Hi,

    Oh my, the mistake i've done was just stupid)
    When the installation offered me to upgrade plan or sign out of paid services, i pressed cancel instead of "sign out paid services". I think you guys need to close window after that, because it just stacks on the Setup screen.

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

    No, I don't have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings. Is there any way for me to identify if anything is restricting traffic? Or any error log I can access?

      Sorry to jump in here, Batata1.

       

      Can you try to install the Dropbox application from using our offline installer, to see if you get a different behavior?

        Hi Hannah,  

         

        Thank you for contributing. I tried your suggestion of downloading and installing the offline installer. But the system again makes me sign in and then gets stuck at the same "Set Up Dropbox" screen while installing.

         

        How should I proceed?
