Dropbox menu bar icon keeps moving to the left after shutdown
The Dropbox icon on my Mac suddenly started moving from its original position in my menu bar all the way to the left (as I like to customize the order of the icons for efficiency... )

No. It's an old Mac with an old OS. I did search thoroughly though, and looked for workarounds using AppleScript, to no avail. I'll just leave the Dropbox icon on the left.

This is not an Apple issue. If it was, why would it only be the Dropbox icon that does it, and none of the other 8 app icons I have that have stayed where I put them for the last 5 years? It's ludicrously annoying.
