Ok, is there something strange on Dropbox startup? What is the result of:
dropbox stop; dropbox start
Some diagnostic messages appear there sometimes. Post the result. Let see it. 🤔

6 years agoI've been having the same problem for probably years now. I'm using Fedora 33 - but it's been the same in 32, 31, and maybe earlier, too.
I tried turning off "Early releases" and re-installing Dropbox; didn't make a difference.
Nothing interesting happens when Dropbox starts up:

Really weird...it works on ubuntu and opensuse tumbleweed (under kde it's a graphical mess but I have all the submenu options)
- Cris705 years agoHelpful | Level 5
Hi neuromante what do you mean by "graphical mess"? I am on openSuse Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma and I do not see a "graphical mess", I think.
However, I have non-functional submenus: both the "Recently Changed Files" and the "Snooze Notifications" submenus do not show anything when clicked. Do you see the same?
Thank you in advanceCris
