This response helped me solve my problem:
I understand that you need the file path to be the same across multiple devices. Currently, your account has a free trial of a Business Plus team plan. In team plans, the Dropbox folder always includes the team name, for example, [team name] Dropbox. Additionally, the content you previously had in your individual account is now located within your personal folder inside the team folder. This personal folder will bear your account name.
To create a Dropbox folder named simply "Dropbox" and have your content directly in it without being inside another folder, you would need an individual plan like Basic, Plus, Professional, Essentials, or Family.
After reviewing what I mentioned, let me know what questions you have and what you want to do, and I will help you.
What I did was create a new account that is not Business Plus, just a Basic account, and that solved the problem. Now I’ll have to wait for the free Business Plus trial on the other account to expire to use it the way I want. That said, you should really have this option enabled, especially if someone is paying for a "better" service.
