How do I open Dropbox automatically in one computer profile only?
On my home desktop computer I have several accounts. One of these is a work account where I use Dropbox.
When I log into this account I would like Dropbox to open automatically; BUT ONLY FOR THI...

I couldn't find my previous post. I guess it is easy when you know how.
Disable the automatic start for all accounts, then create your own shortcut for Dropbox and place it in the Start Up folder for the accounts that you want it to start automatically.
How do I
- create the shortcut
- find the startup folder referred to

11 months agoYou should be able to create a shortcut to your Dropbox folder the same way you would for any other folder on your computer. However, since this may also change depending on your current OS, I can suggest using Google on how to do this based on the OS youâre currently using.
The same applies for the âStartupâ folder; since youâre on Windows though, feel free to take a look at this Microsoft article.
