How to view the full date in a directory listing on the site?
Device
Web
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
Firefox/Chrome MacOS
Question or Issue
How do I view full dates, not relative dates, when listing files and folders? So basically:
<filename> <type> <2025-11-30 21:55>
Not "one hour ago"
nor "six months ago"
Relative dates mean nothing to my use cases.

Hi emr1, thanks for messaging the Community!
Are you only referring to the files as they appear on the Dropbox site?
Have you changed any settings on the account page?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Assuming that this is for https://www.dropbox.com/home , then you can right click a folder and select "Folder Info", which will display some info about the folder including the full datetime of its last modification.

This doesn't help at all. Yes, it's on the home page. I need to sort, and see at a glance what the exact date and time is. The website does not provide this. (for example, you can typically edit your filesystem's manager settings to display this information, either through locale settings or round about general system preferences, etc.)

Pikamander2 is referencing the page I am referring to. Even though I already set my date/time settings in preferences. It still says ..."ago"

Hey emr1 - thanks for the update on this.
Can you clear your browser's cache and/or try another browser and let me know if you get the same results?
If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot too.

Hey emr1!
Hope things are going smoothly! Just wanted to check if you still need a hand. If all's well, feel free to share what did the trick.
