I got this email "Please don't ignore: Your setup isn't complete" for my existing Dropbox account.
I recently received the email "Please don't ignore: Your setup isn't complete"
I clicked the link and it took me to a page asking to install the mobile app which I already have via Google Play.
Even so I went through the steps but each time I reclicked the link, it did not recognise the app (for my extra 250MB π)
My Dropbox login email is different to my Google Play account.
If you're not seeing the additional space on your plan tab, may we reach out via email to have a further look internally encoreserviceseu?

Hi there encoreserviceseu - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Do you happen to have more than one Dropbox accounts and that the email you received was in regards to another Dropbox account, other than the one you're looking at?
Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

Nope, just the one Dropbox account where the email was sent to and where I'm logged into on my Android app - Mark2 years ago

If you add a file to the phone does it appear at www.dropbox.com/home ?
- encoreserviceseu2 years agoExplorer | Level 3Yes phone is in devices
Do you mean add a file via the app or via the web interface or shouldn't it matter? - Nancy2 years ago

encoreserviceseu, I believe Mark suggested that you add a new file to the mobile app on your phone and then check your Dropbox account online ( via https://www.dropbox.com/home ) to make sure theyβre both linked to the same Dropbox account.
- encoreserviceseu2 years agoExplorer | Level 3I uploaded a file from my phone and it does display in my web account.
Does this mean that the "Setup incomplete" was just a generic email sent irrespective of account status? Because I believe the sync was always OK between web and the app - Walter2 years ago

In that case, the email was probably sent by accident without any action needed from your end encoreserviceseu
Let us know if you have anything else to ask or add.
- encoreserviceseu2 years agoExplorer | Level 3Mmm, seems a very elementary error for a tech company of the size of Dropbox!
Anyway, so I don't get my extra 250MBπ€π
Thanks for clarifying - Walter2 years ago

I recently created a Dropbox account and completed the "Get Started with Dropbox" process, which should have awarded me 250MB of additional storage. However, I have yet to receive this bonus. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you.
