I have an issue where my desktop app won't open. Can you help?
Every time I click on the Dropbox app installed on my desktop, it keeps redownloading the same version (55.4.171). The message starts with "Downloading Dropbox." Once that is loaded, the next message...
- 8 years agoHey there TessaSzalk29!In order to further investigate on this, I’d recommend proceeding via email due to account-specific info required to troubleshoot.Having said that, I was able to locate your open request from my side and I can see that it’s under review by a specialized member of the team. I downloaded the updated version of Dropbox, but when I went back to my applications and clicked on the Dropbox icon, the application will not open.

I completed #1-4; however, I received the message "Directory not empty" when I inputted the line of code "sudo mv ~/.dropbox ~/.Trash/dropbox.old". Is this an issue?
