I'm being asked to update my desktop app to the latest version, but the update fails.
Application Affected
(Dropbox Desktop for Windows) Device
(ASUS core i9 13900K with 32GB RAM) Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
(Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.6584) Dropbox App...

I tried to uninstall the old Dropbox app, but it didn't solve the installation problem. :(
(The automatic update was turned on, but the update probably hasn't worked for a while, so maybe that's why the version is old.)
For now, my solution was to extract the DropboxClientInstaller.exe from the offline installer and install with it.
However this doesn't solve the problem, because the downloaded installer (and presumably the automatic update) still doesn't work.

So, from what I understand, you were able to update your Dropbox app to the latest app version for now, correct?
In case the issue persists with the next app version that’s released though, please let us know, and we’ll look into this further.
