Question or Issue

Hi fred2019, thanks for messaging the Community!
If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?
Keep me updated with any progress!

Hi, can do that. I am on plus plan. Should I first delete the actual app?
Strangely I can now see dropbox files with the search function on finder, as well the quick action pull down menu par file. Seems API is working now, but still on dropbox mentioned as "not eligible''. Flaw in dropbox app running under Tahoe 26.2? ?

Yes, delete the app first, as that is one of the steps in the advanced reinstallation.
After you complete the reinstallation, the message you saw should go away.

Ok Jay, I did the installation of the app again and it synced the files with the file provider.
But now a new mystery: it keeps syncing ",dbxignore" constantly. I looked on the forum but could not find my solution. Cannot find the file, even with hidden files enabled. Not in dropbox folder, not on Macdisk. Did restart the app after signing out, but still syncing the .dbxignore file. Any way to stop this syncing?

If this persists after rebooting your computer as well, can you send us a screenshot of the app's exact status as shown in your menu bar at the moment fred2019?

Hi Walter,
Apparently something made the syncing stop. Did sign out of the app, did a reboot and it stopped. However the app doe not start at startup, despite it it is enabled in the ''start up at log in'' Mac menu. Not a big problem, but I suppose there some flaws around the app under Tahoe. Thanks for your help anyway.
