Installation of dropbox.desktop on my linux mint 23.01 failed

When I try to install the provided .deb package the installer fails because I do not have girl.2.gtk installed.  But when I try to install it and/or search for it I can find no such reference. Hope...

    Thank you.  I was able to install that package without issue.  Too many versions "for an old guy!!!"

In such a case you need a bit older version (newer versions are incompatible):

sudo dpkg -i dropbox_2020.03.04_amd64.deb
