Is it possible to make the Scan options to default to the last used one?

I often use the Scan feature, which automatically takes a black-and-white picture of a piece of paper and crops it. One of the options during that process is whether I want to save the image as a PDF...

Currently, there isn't an option to change the default of the document scanning feature.
