Issue installing Dropbox Passwords on Mac - I don't receive the confirmation on my iPhone to log in.

Hello,

I have just installed the dropbox application on my Mac.

After signing in the program asks for a confirmation from my iPhone, however I don't get anything on my phone....

After clicking to ask to send the request again, the same thing happens....

After trying to install on my phone, the same thing happens.... impossible to find the link on my computer????

Can someone help me even get the passwords app started?

Hey RichardHawke, thanks for the nudge here.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Passwords app, to see if that helps?

Also, it might be far fetched, but have you tried a re-start on your device?

When I click on the dropbox password logo in safari I get this screen:

So I also get the feeling that the validation process has not gone through correctly.

    Thanks for your feed back.

Thanks for the answer, I will take a look at that.

For my iPhone I still have this screenshot (sorry, it is in French but I think you will understand).

I don't get any notification on my computer either...

Thanks for the screenshot, Richard! The web extension seems to be all set now, from what I understand.

If you click on the Edit button, or visit another website on your Safari browser, are you able to save your logins to Dropbox Passwords? You can also see more details here on how to do this.

    Hi Nancy,

Yes it was the Dropbox Passwords browser extension on may Mac device.

Unfortunately the original screen will not come back, but I now have this that shows up when I try to start the program:

After clicking on the link I get this:

Hi RichardHawke! Thanks for posting on our forum today.

Do you mean that you installed the Dropbox Passwords browser extension on your Mac device perhaps? Or are you referring to the desktop app that’s used to sync files among multiple devices and your web account?

Can you send me a visual of what you see when trying to sign in from both your devices? In case there’s any personal info showing, make sure to mask it beforehand.

I’ll be able to further help this way.
