It's really hard to move files between two Dropbox accounts on the website.

Device: N/A
Operating System/Browser (if using the web): N/A
Dropbox App Version (if using the app): N/A
Syncing Status: N/A

Question or Issue:
Why is moving between two personal dropbox accounts so difficult, the UI is not at all user friendly...why are accounts even connected to browser accounts. After spending ages trying to figure out how to do a transfe, I gave up, download to my pc, and then loaded up to the other dropbox account...all the time battling pop-up inviting me to install desktop dropbox or upgrade which I already have.

Simply put Dropbox isnt designed for people to have multiple accounts. Its designed that you have 1 account and everything is linked to that.

You can have 2 accounts linked to your computer if one is a business one (i.e. 2 Dropbox folders set up to sync). Otherwise you'll need to use incognito windows, or, different user accounts on the computer to install the software.
