Linked accounts when using the desktop app. Is it possible?

The new account is Basic. The previous account is paid personal account, not business. I used a whole new email address to join the new account. I'm guessing it got the files from the hard drive Dropbox.
Not sure how to explain my accounts without giving you my email address.

12 months agoOn the new account just delete them - it sounds like you didn't delete the files off your computer before setting the new account up so its re-uploaded them.
Check they are still showing on the original account by going to www.dropbox.com/home and logging on under the old email (an incognito window may make this easier) then once you know they are you can either delete them from the new account, or, just drag out of the Dropbox folder which will have the same effect.
