MacOS: how to make all my folders available locally?
ve been a paid user for several years. It used to work seamlessly in the background and I loved it and recommended it to many orgs and friends. I'm on here today because I just set up a new Mac Studio. I installed DB and it seems to have randomly decided what folders would be online only and what folders are duplicated on my Local HD and so available in my Finder. Many are missing and I've spent the last hour trying to navigate through this forum finding "How To" instructions that appear to be outdated. How in the name of sweet Jesus do I make my folders available locally??! At this point I'm completely exasperated and remembering fondly the days of external drives!

Hey M14, let's jump right into this!
You mentioned that some folders are missing: is it possible that the app hasn't fully synced yet?
Can you check its syncing status, and let me know what you find?
Have you tried following these steps, in order to make your online-only folders, available locally?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thanks Megan, never for a minute would have thought the Sync and Preferences dialogues would be under my photo (Avatar) - I've just selected the folders to duplicate locally - I see them coming down now . . . I know it's me but really, would it kill DB to throw a Sync icon up there with the other ones! Sheesh. I've said this before, these folks think we have time to explore and spend time in their app, we don't. Make it obvious transparent and easy.
Thanks again Megan XX
