Not possible to choose specific folder from external Hard drive, in order to sync.
I try to choose for backup 2 subfolder from extern folder but always are 2 folders checked to begin with. I try and try with same result.
No worries jaroslawistok - we're glad to hear it's sorted now.
See you around the Community and take care!

Hi jaroslawistok, thanks for posting here today!
If I understand correct, you'd like to backup some folders that exist in an external drive of yours, to Dropbox, am I right on this one? Feel free to correct me if this isn't the case here.
Have you tried unchecking one of the two folders? Also, did you try to enable Backup using the app's preferences, or you did it online?
If you could send me some screenshots of what you see on your end, that'd be amazing.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi jaroslawistok, could you attach a screenshot showing what you're describing, and also what you see on the backup page?

For you own security and privacy, could you attach the images directly on the forum, not via a shared link, and hide any sensitive information as well.

Yes you are rigt. I moved this another folder elswhere so I have 1 folder with 2 subfolders. But it doesn't backup, evem when it shows that more than 4 gb are backuped. This folders are not in dropbox.
I deleted backup and want now sync, but it doesn't work too. When dropbox is on CPU is going to maximum π

Hey jaroslawistok, sorry to jump in here, but could you confirm that you're looking at your backups page when trying to find your backed up files and not your homepage?
Have you tried enabling the backup from the backups page by the way?
As for the high CPU usage, can you let us know if the app is still syncing in your system tray/menu bar or if it's up to date?

I found this folders and files really online on backups page.
But I don't understand why they are not to see in finder. - Walter3 years ago

Backing up your files to Dropbox is different than syncing them jaroslawistok
If you'd like to see these folders within Finder, you can copy them inside your Dropbox folder and let the app sync.
