Notification Badge in Menubar Icon - How Do I Make It Go Away?
Hi. I'm running Dropbox v121.4.4267 on Mac OS High Sierra. I don't if something happened with an automatic update. Now, I'm getting something I haven't seen before. I, suddenly, have a red badge on the icon in my menubar and I don't know why it's there. I can't figure out how to make it go away. I don't have any notifications so I don't know what it's trying to tell me. How do I get rid of it?
Thanks.

The version is V187.4.5691 not quite sure what you mean by synching "status..." my files are synching, but the blue synching icon does not function...

Hi there Koorbloh, sorry to jump in here, but could let us know if you tried accessing your notifications on the desktop app to see if there's any unread notification that's causing this?
Any additional information or screenshots are more than welcome!

Hey Koorbloh, would you mind sending over a screenshot of the icon, so we can have a visual of this as well?

Hi Hannah,
here is the screen shot:
hope that helps....not to be able to see when a saved file to dropbox is actually synching is very annoying.....

Could you check your account online for any notifications and mark them as read -just in case- and restart your devices as well?
If the issue persists, please send us a screenshot of the notifications window too Koorbloh

And I assume you also checked the website for any unread notifications there as well Koorbloh?
If so, let us know here and we'll reach out via email to have a further look internally.

Hi...not sure what you mean by "check the website..." isn't that the ONLY way of checking notifications? at any rate, i have done so on multiple occasions. as the screen shot shows, there is nothing there....please reach out on email since this is quite annoying...and thanks for your help!
