Reinstalled the Dropbox app and it wants to rename my Dropbox folder

I should add, "Browse for Folder," with my name selected.
On the other hand, I just realized that in the small print at the top, it says "A folder named "name" will be created inside the folder you select. So I would, if I click ok now, have a new folder C:Users/name/name/ created

9 months agoThanks for the screenshot muddleglum!
Essentially your path should be: C:\User\username and once you select that, your existing Dropbox folder should be there.
All that should happen is that the app will re-index any changes, instead of downloading all of your content from scratch.

Hey muddleglum, on the first screenshot it looks like you had the option to merge content.
Did you try this, by any chance?

Yes, and got the next one almost immediately. Did you get that last one?
edited. Which button on the last one should I use? I don't want to rename the folder or put it somewhere else -- too many things point to files in dropbox.
