Stop creating a file (.dropbox.device) on every device I connect to my pc!
Simple solution had at least an option in the settings to disable this feature.
I red a lot of messages in this community going back over a year now... and I understand why it's being created t...

It doesn't happen to me anymore. As far as I briefly seen, on version 146.4.4836 this issue seems fixed. I shall need more time to see how this behaves but I shall also thank you in advance for tending to this issue ❤️ If our voice from here really reached the developers, I also congratulate you and the moderator team. Its just been announced (yay!) that this is now resolved on this build (146.4.4836).

I have yet to download/install that version, but, based on the responses above, it looks like Dropbox listened to and provided a fix. Thanks Dropbox devs 🙂 and thanks to all the users who take the time to list issues with the Dropbox product here👍
