The desktop app is asking me to create a new Dropbox folder after signing out and back in
My Dropbox is connected to my Gmail ID. Due to some reason, I changed my password, because of which the Dropbox that was logged in on my computer system got disconnected. While trying to reconnect Dropbox on my computer, it is asking me to create a new folder on the system.
However, my Dropbox already contains data of more than 100 GB and is linked to my computer’s hard drive. If they ask me to reinstall Dropbox, it will take a lot of time, which I want to avoid.
Please advise how I can resolve this issue

Hey abhi_0743, is the desktop app still asking you to create a brand new Dropbox folder on your computer?

Hi there abhi_0743, thanks for posting to our Community today.
Let's see how we can find the most efficient way for you to reconnect to your Dropbox folder.
First, just to have a clear understanding of the situation, can you send me a screenshot of what the Dropbox desktop app asked you when you signed back in to your account?
Also, when you initially created your Dropbox account, did you perhaps use the "sign in with Google" option and then later you reset your password and tried to sign in with your email and password instead?
Let me know and we'll go from there!
