sorry for the delayed response - i erroneously replied to your reply above and the email was undelivered - i was able to eliminate the duplicate dropbox folder so there is just one under user name - however dropbox will still not start automatically when computer is restated and yes i have the desktop preferences set to login on startup and it shows the same in the settings login on apple settings - i have run out of ideas

3 days agoIf you're already performed and advanced reinstallation of the Dropbox desktop application, I think it would be best to contact the support team since they have more tools and steps available to troubleshoot this matter for you.
