The Dropbox menu bar icon on Mac OS 26 is missing

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall DropBox without success. Is there any way to restore the menubar icon, which is the only way to control the app preferences for menubar visibility?

    Hi spartanshamrock, thanks for posting!

If you don’t see the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, it might be hidden. When the menu bar gets crowded, Mac OS may hide some icons.

To prevent this from happening, you can pin the Dropbox icon in your menu bar so that it stays always visible by following these steps:

    1. To find the Dropbox icon, first temporarily remove other icons in your menu bar by quitting those apps.
    2. When you see the Dropbox icon, press and hold Command.
    3. Drag and drop the Dropbox icon to the right side of the menu bar.
    4. When the icon is in that position it’s less likely to be hidden when many apps are open.

    Keep me posted!
