Vault disappeared on iPhone app after last update
I’m running iOS 17.1 and DropBox app version 352.2.2. Since the last DropBox app update Vault is no longer accessible. I’ve been able to access it on the desktop site only. I’ve cleared the cache and signed out but Vault does not show up. Is this a known issue with this version or is it a feature going away on the app?

I see. Can you also reinstall the Dropbox app as the next step?
Other than that, I’d like to know the OS version of your device, as well as the app version of the Dropbox app to make sure it’s not the beta one.

Cool, thanks for clarifying. Have you also tried what is mentioned here? Does scrolling down to the bottom of your file list show nothing either?
If not, when was the last time you could access Vault on your mobile device? Is it possible you’ve switched accounts since then and Vault hasn’t been set up on the account that you’re accessing now?

Hey Dave2006. Are you unable to locate your Vault on all Dropbox platforms, or just your mobile app, as stated in the OP?
Also, the folder that you see, do you find it when searching for your Vault? Can you send me a full screenshot of what you see when opening it? If there’s anything personal of course, feel free to mask it before attaching your screenshot on the forum.
- Dave20062 years agoExplorer | Level 3I have the same issue, however I cannot find my vault via search. I can see a folder that should be in the vault and now it is empty.

Looks like there isn't a better solution at the moment, but I've shared your feedback with the Search and Indexing team to figure out how and whether we can better surface the Vault folder in search results. You're right, it's weird that it doesn't appear!
- Lanie003 years agoExplorer | Level 3Thanks for the info, Ian! It appears typing in the word “vault” and searching there turns up nothing but after scrolling through all of the folders down to the letter “V” I do see the Vault there. Is there an easier way to access this without scrolling through all of the folders?

Hi Lanie00, I'm an engineer on the iOS app.
We've changed the messaging and options in those views you shared, so those screenshots seem correct. That said, the Vault feature and folder should still be available via the Files tab on mobile.
Could you please confirm whether the folder is accessible at the top level of your Dropbox folder within the Files tab?

Any update on this issue?
