I just wanted to let you all know that the 5-minutes limit has been removed from Capture. Give it a try on dropbox.com/capture.

    Thank you very much!

Hey Peter HK, hope your Monday is going great!

At the moment, the maximum length is indeed limited to 5 minutes.

Your feedback regarding Capture has been very valuable, and I will endeavor to make sure your voice is heard.

I'll forward your feedback to the appropriate areas so we can continue to improve.

    I hope this clarifies!

    Hi Megan

    Thanks for your reply

That sounds good, I hope it's something they add.

It would also be nice if I could see if the receiver has played the video and how many times 🙂

    Cheers, Peter 🙂

Highly recommend bumping up the time limit and adding a 'has it been viewed' feature. Time limit is the only thing stopping us from switching from loom to this!

Yes 5 min is too short. Often I have to send 2-3 videos to show my client what to do.

If the time limit is raised and I can see if the recipient has seen the video (and how many times) it will also deter me from using loom.

Agreed, 5 minutes is far too short.  For instance, our use case is often for recording meetings that take place on meeting platforms that don't offer a recording feature, so we'll use a screen recording app for saving / sharing the meeting with team members who couldn't attend.  I only wish we could have 5-minute meetings! 🙂
