Why can't I open Microsoft files on my mobile device?
I updated my iPad Pro & now I can't open Dropbox files in Microsoft apps. I can see Dropbox, and I can open in other apps (Adobe, for instance), but Word, Excel, etc. tell me that the server is gone ...

My iPad isnāt on my cell plan so thereās no cellular in the settings. It worked this morning to pull up documents from Dropbox into word to edit them, and now it wonāt work and just keeps giving me the error message āNo network connectionā. However, it is connected to the network, all the other apps work, and Iām able to save things from online TO Dropbox, and view them on Dropbox. I just canāt open them in word. HELP! I got this dang iPad to do schoolwork, and now I canāt.

Same here. If true that MS did an update that says bug fixes and reallly disabled Dropbox then I am done with MS. Moving to Apple Apps.

It seems funny that Dropbox is blaming it on Microsoft, since the only app that was updated was Dropboxānot MS Excel or Word.

I have the same problem, and it has only happened since I updated Microsoft Office within the last couple of days. The only way to access and edit Dropbox documents, in Office, at the moment, on my iPad Pro I have found is as follows - In, say, Word, open Word like usual, click on ā... Moreā, then under locations click on Dropbox, then open up the document you want, if it is on auto save, there will be no issues and itāll just save from time to time. If you want a new Word document, click on a new document in Word, then under save click on ā...moreā, then on Dropbox and do it that way. This is very clunky, but the only way I have found at the moment.
