Why is the mobile app taking up so much iPhone storage?

Hello I noticed that dropbox is taking up 32 gigs on my Iphone storage. Why is it taking up storage on my device? Its all cloud based.... Im confused as why it would take up local storage if its all on the cloud?

Hi Scroll41, thanks for messaging the Community!

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you! I am actually on a plus plan with 1 user with 2000 gb storage.

Thanks, then you should be able to try clearing the cache first, then uninstall and reinstall the app. Once you do, let me know if the app takes up less storage.
